A : Basic expressions

- complete ~ on time = wrap ~ up on time = on time

- meet[make] the deadline → due date = closing date → finish the report by the deadline.

- be on the right track → You're on the right track.

- make an effort → I'll make an effort to complete the work on time.

- How far~ ? → How far is it going?

- be done by ~ → It'll be done [finished] by ~

B : Key Sentences

- How is the project going? → It's being processed. → I've done about half of it.

- How far have you gotten? → It is almost done. → I'm almost finished.

- How's it proceeding? → It's going well so far. → Everything looks[seems] okay.

→ I'm on the right track.

- When do you expect it to be done? → It will be done by Wednesday.

- Can you finish the project by the due date? → I will try to get it done by Tuesday.

- Can you meet[make] the deadline? → I'll make an effort to complete the work on time.

C : Key Dialog

- How is the budget plan going? → Everything seems okay.

- Did you start the market research? → Yes, It's being processed.

- When do you expect to finish the paperwork? → It'll be done by next week.

- How far have you gotten? → We have done about half of it.

- How many days are left until the deadline for the submission of the proposal?

→ one more day. It'll be done by then.

- Have you drafted a contract? → Not yet. I'm trying to complete everything on time.

- Make an effort to complete the work on time. → I'll make the deadline for sure.

D : Office Talk

- Did you finish analyzing the customer feedback on our new product?
