Section 8 Using a Word Processor
A : Basic expressions
- click on = click on the folder = double click the icon.
- type (tyop = There are too many typs.)
- copy = copy the selected text.
- paste = press Ctrl+V to paste the copied text.
- insert A into B = insert a chart into the Word document.
- set a pont = pont size (enlarge ↔ reduce)
- increase the space = increase the spase between lines ↔ decrease the space between the text.
- scroll down ↔ scroll up = scroll up to top of the page.
- save a file = save a file to the C drive.
- print out = Can you print out two copies of the sales report?

- restore
B : Key Sentences
- Can you show me how to use a word processor? = You need to ----- . = print the document.
= create a document. = type the document. = edit the document. save the file.
C : Key Dialog
- The text is too close together. → Increase the space between the text.
- What's at the bottom of this page? → Let me scroll down the page.
- I accidentally deleted an important document. →Don't worry.You can restore it from the recycle bin.
- How can I start the MS Word program? → Just click on the icon.
- Can I have a hard copy of this report? → Wait a minute. I'll print it out for you.

- Can you tell me how I can insert this graph into the Word document?
→ It's simple. Select the entire chart and copy it by pressing Ctrl+C. Then, place your cursor
where you want your graph to be positioned. And paste it by pressing Ctrl+V.
